Dosing Size of CBD?
How Much Should I Take?

Unfortunately, when it comes to natural remedies, which some individuals consider CBD to be, there's  no specific amount that can be recommended.  Every individual's body metabolizes things differently. There are may accounts where an individual with  a particular condition and a particular weight taking X amount.  On the other hand, we have have an individuals who has the same particulars but have to either take much more or much less.  Of course, some of this variation in How Much to Take has to do with the actual quality of the cannabidiol (CBD), but more often the variation has to do with the individual.  So, be aware that regardless of what you read, either on the product packaging or on the internet, your experience will most likely involve some experimentation to find just the right amount for you.

With that being said, we have a website that was shared with us by a customer who said they found the information to be useful, as did others they knew.  And, since we have made it available to our customers, we have gotten positive reports about the website helping to determine how much CBD someone might want to take per serving.

The Dosing Dilemma

Finding the right dose is a common problem even with practitioners.

The Cannabis industry is just starting to get usage data from various studies however, it will take time to figure out what works for most.
Although, unlike marijuana and THC, the risks associated with CBD are extremely low, with not a single case report of CBD overdose in the literature.
According to CannLabs, the nation’s top full-service testing lab for cannabis products, there is no established lethal CBD dose. No one has ever died from a cannabis overdose - ever.

It's comforting when you realize that CBD has no known adverse side effects at any dose, but opioid drug interactions can be problematic because they work on the same pathway. If you are taking an opioid like Oxycodone you should absolutely lessen the dose because CBD will amplify opioid drugs.

Another consideration is bioavailability of the CBD you are taking. A liposomal CBD is more bioavailable so less may be needed.
Make sure to purchase the highest quality Cannabidiol because many companies cut corners to increase their profit margins. We do not.

Unfortunately there is no clear cut answers yet for dosing.

Basic Guidelines

The goal here is to help you find out what works best for you. Here are some points to help you achieve that end:

Side note: if you're aren't dealing with a health challenge, feel great, and just using CBD as a preventative measure (kudos to you!),  take our suggested dosage on the bottle. CBD is an important nutrient and even if you aren't feeling any differences, your body is still utilizing it for important processes.

Cannabinoids will be way more effective if your lifestyle is a healthy one. If you are dealing with a health condition, it's important to alter your lifestyle because it likely created the condition in the first place.

Remember: if you change nothing, nothing will change.

With that out of the way, onward to our basic dosing guidelines.

·         Start with a low dose and see how it feels (even lower than the suggested dose)
·         Go slow with that dosage by giving it at minimum a few days.
·         Monitor how you feel, your mood, your cravings, how you sleep, check for interactions with other medication. We suggest keeping a journal.
·         Consult with a health professional
·         If no effects are felt increase dosage

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Age, genetics, weight, lifestyle and severity of condition all play an important role on the effect of dosage.
Because we want you to have the best possible outcome with our product we give you an industry leading 60 days to play with it without risk.
